Mario Kart Wii: Time Trials cheat -NO SPOILERS-

Hi guy, if you have played the Mario Kart Time Trials, ghost data thing on Wifi. You may have seen the Champ for all of the tracks. He cheats somehow and i don't have a clue how he dose it, but does anyone know how he cheats and how you do it?

By the way, no spoilers about the game.

apparently that leader does two laps then stops and waits for the timer to go to 99.99.9 wer it is reset to 0 and he can do a quick lap round

There were cheaters like this on Mario Strikers Charged Football in the initial weeks since release, somehow they dissapeared though, and I think it was proberbly Nintendo's doing too. They will sort it.

I've only seen it on the Snowboard track - a guy with a time of 53 point something or other seconds. There are about three other people with exactly the same time. Like others have said, on the replay the guy just does one lap (excrutiatingly slowly) and then turns the opposite way just after the finish line. Then the replay doesn't stop.

Personally, I think its a bug. I've only seen it on one track and there are others with the same time.

I was just about to make a post about this, I thought I was going mad. I just noticed it on the World Champ for Luigi Circuit. The person does 2 laps really slow then turns round just after the finish line with Lakitu coming down then just stays there forever and that somehow means he/she's done 3 laps in a short time? I just whupped the ghosts ass and was told I've lose? What a load of rubbish.

I've just tipped GoNintendo about this and they've put up a news entry about it, apparently many others have tipped them about it too. I hope Nintendo know about this and sort the cheaters out soon because at the moment no-one can achieve the World Champion ranking.

I was about to make a post about this! This is rather annoying, I went to set a time and we already have cheaters! grrr! irritating! I was beating the ghost and thought I was going to take the top spot only to find it's a cheat!

Yeah I spotted these last night and a post about it (never spotted this thread)

I think they should be banned there is no need for cheating and if you get caught you pay the price.
