Hello everyone. I've noticed recently that the steam group is rather dead. And by rather, I mean completely. So I'm remaking it with some small changes:
1: It's invite only, please contact a member and they should be fine to invite you in. Please only allow them acess if they're a member of ONM. If your letting in non-onm members, they will be kicked.
2: Admins will be every mod here, along with any admins. Plus me.
3: Messages will be sent out from time to time, advertising some ONM games. So come and play  . And feel free to use the group chat. But please, the rules of ONM still apply.
For all of you who don't know what steam is, and have a computer on which you play games:

To sum it up shortly, it's an application where you chat, buy games, and can join games through it. An excellent addition. I've also seen many people playing the famous:
Much much much thanks to Elmand but we do have a Team Fortress 2 server. Not exclusive to ONM, but an excellent edition for our forum to play on an organise games on. Alongside Elmand's clan. To which we are very thankful.

Of course, if your not into TF2, (In which case I highly advise you to invest in it) then you could use this to organise games of Left 4 Dead?
It's an excellent service, so please everyone give the group a look. I'll be sure to be adding people to the group shortly. Please do not PM me asking to be in, just post here and tell me your current steam name, I'll make sure you get the invite. (If you get an Add from 'Ninjah' that would be myself)
Also, right now the Avatar of the group needs changing. It's Nintendo's logo. If anyone would like to have a go at making one, I'd be most thankful. Along with our intro. Think you can do one better? Gimme them via PM and I'll nudge you back.

Good stuff, we'll have to organise matches for particular days so it's easy to get some people playing together at one time.

I have Steam, but don't really bother with it...
I find MSN much easier/better to use.
Steam, however, is good for updates etc.
I have it for Football Manager 09, by the way. Not really into PC Gaming.

We've had a few ONM TF2 nights in the past and they've been great fun, we're hoping to make them more regular.
The server will be up and down for a few days while I get everything sorted (it is a new server) but it should all be sorted by the end of the week. It's a 24 slot located in London so there shouldn't be too much lag.

I'm going to go through the current ONM group and add people I know are ONMers. If you get added and have a mate who is in ONM and not added, do me a favour and add him/her.

I haven't got it installed at the moment but I may think about it.
Seeing as how bad my computer is, TF2 looks poor on it and only just works so it's a bit of a problem. But I have CS:S too and it works fine. |
